Getting Started


You can get started with the Talend Framework very quickly. In just a few minutes, you can be running your first Job that performs your own tasks.


This documentation assumes that you do have a basic understanding of either Talend Open Studio for Data Integration, or Talend Enteprise. If you do not, there are plenty of resource that will get you going, including

If you have not already done so, download and install Talend for Data Integration version 5.6.1 or later.

Download the Latest Version of the Talend Framework

Project Configuration

The Framework includes a Job Execution Reporting module. This module provides statistical reporting for your executed Jobs. If you would like to use this module, then you will need to configure Stats & Logs.

I do recommend that you collect the statistics of your Jobs. The Framework makes it very easy for you to collect and report on these.

To Install the Framework, simply import it in to your Project. For more information, read the Installation Guide.
